I'm 23 and I've never shaved my legs before. The hair is so fine that I just never felt the need to. My legs to the touch are extremely smooth but when you look closely or when I'm in shorts IN THE SUN you can see it because it's bleach blond and shines.

I have several events coming up that will involve wearing dresses during the day (in the sun) and for some reason I'm becoming insecure about the hair. I've become so accustomed to not shaving that I considered just getting my legs waxed.

So what I would like to know is that if I wax my legs and then the hair grows back how likely is it that it will return blond and not coarse?

Supposedly your hair will grow back finer. I don't know, my eye brows don't grow back any finer. And it's really only the stubble that feels coarse from shaving. I have blond hair too, and when I skip a few days... well OK a few weeks... OK, OK, a few months with out shaving, my leg hair is still fine and blond.

Have you considered Nair or Veet? If you do decide to wax, take my advice and seek a professional!

Lets just say burning hot wax, unable to remove from leg, a butter knife and 3 hours later, I was NOT a happy camper.

HMMMM, well are you a blond? I'm a brunette but I got some nice Spanish genes with fare colored hair, skin and eyes that's why the hair on my arms and legs is bleach blonde. So what I'm afraid of is triggering it to grow back dark.

I've never consider Veet or Nair... that stuff creeps me out... it literally burns the hair and it's just not for me.

I will seek a professional if I choose to wax or I may just end up wearing pants! BLAH... I really wanted to wear a dress. I've never been insecure about it till recently... I don't know why it bothers me now.
