Well, you could but think about it realistically, do you think, at your age, that you'll love him until you're old? You're only 13, you haven't really experienced life and yet you want to tie yourself down with a boy that you think your in love with. How do you know that the boy of your dreams right now will still be the man of your dreams when your older? Are you really ready to commit yourself to this guy when you've never been able to see other people?

The statistics are against it, really against it.

The fact is, you're 13, you're still growing, maturing, physically and mentally. Your opinions will change, you'll change. It's doubtful that the two of you will be together as adults, that's a long way away.

You might meet other guys in that time who you might like more. Maybe you need to get to know other guys before you think he's so perfect. Guys aren't so important at 13 trust me I'm just a couple years older. I thought the guy I went out with when I was 13 was the guy for me and we would be together forever. Then I saw other sides to him and I met other people who might actually be better for me so we broke up because he felt the same way. You might not want to fall so deeply in love, you might get hurt. Its not a bad thing that you are going out with him, I just think that you should get to know other guys out there... this is only my opinion

I'm 20, so thirteen isn't that far off to remember for me. When I was thirteen I thought I was going to marry my then "boyfriend." It wasn't until much later that I realized that what we had wasn't a relationship at all. I mean, how serious can you be about someone when you can't even drive to go on real dates or anything. Basically, you're just hanging out. Ugh... if I were still dating that guy, I'd probably be on drugs and visiting him in jail.


You're 13, go be 13 and have fun. Do things people your age do. If you are really desperate for a relationship or too clingy, especially at that age, it will never work out. So go see Twilight and hang out with the girls!
