What is the white thing (larve?) in our pond?
My brother found a white thing in our pond. It's white with a pink/red part (a head?) and it seems to have veins. It's about 3-5 cm long and looks a bit like the inside of a lychee fruit.. We think it's a larve of some kind..
We are really curious about what it is, so if anyone knows please leave a reply.
    Thank you!

Edit: I live in the Netherlands, Europe. The state I found the thing in is a bit hard to say.. It was between the plants in our pond and I have no idea if it is or was or is even supposed to be alive...

It may help to narrow it down if you give a location like the state you found this in. And the country if your outside of the U.S.

    Just Dahlia

Can you post a picture? Was there only one?
Was it just on the plants in the water or actually in the water?
