Should gay couples adopt children

Only if they want to raise a child.

There are no specific gay couple, just as in any couple, some may be more suited to raise children.

This is a discussion question.

This probably isn't going to go down well, but I would say yes and no.

It does depend on where you live to a large degree but you have to think of the child, not the parents.

That child is the one who has to go to school and tell their friends they have 2 mommys or 2 daddys... that child may be the one ridiculed or even bashed at school because of it.

In some areas this might be quite acceptable and the child will have no trouble, but other places it might not end well.

Just so you know I have absolutely nothing against gay people, I have quite a few gay friends and they stand by my opinion... they see it as not being fair on the child.
