Is there a way to get a new category added? Like I know there are sports and in that it says other spots, but what I was wondering is, can we get another category that is for all outdoor sports. Meaning things like Hiking, Camping, Fishing, Hunting, Achery, Shooting, and Boating.

I mean I know that a few of these are already in there but as my question pertained to Hiking, and there was no hiking category, I did not get many responses (1 responce). I like the response, but it didn't help.

I believe that if the categories were combined into one category (Outdoors) that more people will happen across the topic and answer the question. As hiking isn't the most popular thing in the world, I am only really hoping for people in the area to suggest certain points of interest in that I have never been to. Most everyone at least knows a hiker and most of them have heard of a place their friend or whatever likes to hike in. See where I am going with this?

So is it possible for these subjects to be combined please... :D

To add to this, I keep finding people that love to hike. I have picked up three friends that would love to just go out hiking with me. No one likes to hike alone you know. So I know there are a lot more people into hiking than just the one that answered my post

Are the categories based on response? Who decided what the categories should be, how? Do the all the users have an opportunity (besides like this) to suggest categories?

In my opinion the category cigars and tobacco should be a sub-category of addictions.

There should be a category for living with video game and porn addicts too. It would be misery loves company like the category for sports widows. These usually fall into the adult sexuality category.

Simon, they have cigars and tobacco separate from addictions simply because someone who smokes could be asking what new brands are out or what's the best cigar. Things like that. Though I too believe that in the addictions category that there should be a spot for tobacco use
