    I have been on my period for over a month what could this be
    I have been on my period for the last month and a week... what could this be from I have been taking the birth control Yaz for the last year and a couple months I thought my period had finally stopped yesterday then I bleed through a super tampon within three hours...

    Well the smart thing would have been to see the doctor, emergency... bleeding that long, that much , etc... Why are you not getting it checked out.?

    It wouldn't qualify as an emergency from what you described. I do agree, however, that its best if you call a doc.

    Super tampon within three hours... Yes it is an emergency. Bleeding for over a month and soaking pads within a certain period. Emergency bound.

    Hopefully she did go.

    A tampon (super or not) should be changed every 3 hours if not more often.

    I didn't read anything about soaking pads?

    I've had issues like this - my longest was 78 days and doc never qualified me as emergent. I just called in my "status" every few days. Of course, everyone is different.

    But, yes, hopefully she's been seen by now or will be soon. :)
