Wiring ceiling fan light with out the plug connector
I have a Harbor breeze ceiling fan had to replace the capacitor, when putting it back together the light kit connector was not getting any power to a few of the wires in it so he sniped the connector and dirct wired the fan and the light and can not get it to work. Any suggestions?

My guess is he did not wire it right. Bypassing the connectors shouldn't make much of a difference. How is the light connected?

    Is it a remote fan?

I am not sure I will answer your question but I will give it a try. It is the light kit that came with the fan. It does not have a remote and is using the usual pull chain 2 wire connection and 2 wires that go into the other wiring above? Did that help. I can send a pic if that will help this mess?

You were right after 2 full days and putting up the bathroom ceiling fan he figured it out. It was just the blue, white and black connected wrong.
    Thank you
