My toshiba rear projection TV model 42pw23p .had no sound or picture I somehow got the sound back on but still no picture what could this be please

It is impossible to say 100% what is wrong without being in front of the TV to diagnose the issue. Your best bet is to have someone come out to see the TV. Prices for in-home calls usually range around $100-150 (USD).
