    Hi,
My "guess" is that something has disturbed the relationship of the shifter. Hung on a tree? Anyway pictures are attached. Item #11 is an adjustment ferrule; generally loosening the clamping bolt to center the shifter at "actual" neutral will achieve the desired result.
    Peace,
    Clarke

My MDT rider when shifted into forward it locks up and starts to smoke the drive belt, but when shifted into reverse it goes in and does OK. Itook transmission apart and it appears the shift fork locks in the forward position and the only way to get it out is to shut it off and shift it out. But with it running you can't shift it out cause of the pressure on the forward gear. So if you can tell me what maybe my issue. I see the ball bearing on the shift fork slide. It has me puzzled
