    Sc eviction law
In SC, if only one of the homeowners wants to evict, can the other succeed? Specifically, If I, as a legal owner of a home/property, do not want to have someone living in that home evicted, but homeowner #2 does, what remedies does homeowner #2 have?

Right to the point here - is homeowner #2 living in the home with someone other than homeowner #1?

I see this all the time with jointly owned homes, marital problems, #2 moves a girlfriend/boyfriend in and #1 attempts to evict the gf/bf.

    Hello d:

Either homeowner can enter into a lease with tenants. Apparently, homeowner #2 did just that, and homeowner #1 can't do anything about it.

Nothing like that. Both homeowners live in the home, one [homeowner #2] wants to have a family member removed. Homeowner #1 does not. Basically, homeowner #2 is a bigot and homeowner #1 and other family member does not agree with homeowner #2. So, homeowner #2 is being vindictive and attempting eviction.

Well, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Homeowner #2 has always been somewhat of a bigot, but since Obama become President, he has gotten worse. Getting on the nerves of family member and me.

The remedy would be to sue #1 for a partition of the property.
