We are both fit and young and ready to settle down have though about having a baby for a while now and know that we are stable enough to. You can NOT get pregnant if your not ovulating. If you have a normal 28 day cycle ( keep a chart, from the very first day you start your period and when you stop every month for 3 moths to see exactly where you are in the "normal" cycle) but if it is 28-29 day cycle than more than likey you will be ovulating about the 13-14 day of THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR PERIOD!! You may have a little discharge ( whiteish-mucusie). If all else fails spend the 30$ and get an ovulation kit. Good Luck!, ooohh and sperm can stay alive inside of you for up to 72 hours.
