I need help hooking up a LiteOn DVD/VCR Recorder( Model LVC-9016G), Motorola/Comcast cable box (Model DCT 2224/1161/ACDEG CATV/Converter) and a Samsung TV (Model HDTV LN-T2342H A). I'm using coaxial and composite cables. I have tried different connection combinations and been able to get the DVD/VCR to play DVD's & videos, and I have been able to copy a video to a DVD. I'm still able to view cable channels with no problem. But, I can't get my DVD/VCR to pick up or scan the TV/Cable channels.

What am I doing wrong?
