    What happened
I'm back on the dating scene after getting out a long term relationship a couple of months ago. I've known this really nice guy for a few months previously. He was very attentive to me the last few times we saw each other and my friend said that he had a crush on me and that he'd been talking about me. He also texted me a few days later - I replied and then sent him an e-mail asking him out for a drink a little while later - but have heard nothing. He called me a couple of days ago while I was busy but I later found out he just needed to get something from our office. I'm a bit confused. I was pretty sure he liked me but the lack of contact ( he didn't even respond when I returned his call) suggests he doesn't. I know he's incredibly busy at the moment and he would normally respond to my e-mails as we are friends - maybe I'm being a bit too sensitive as I'm newly single. I don't think I should do anymore chasing - but do you think s should give up hope. I really do like this guy but I know I'm being too sensitive to judge the situation properly

Well maybe you should ask him in person!and make sure you have his number right and don't ask him to often and ask him straight out if he likes you in that way!

Don't dwell, as if he is interested, he has a weird way of showing it. More options, will appear later, with others. His loss.

Yeah probably - I didn't mention that he still thinks I have a boyfriend - perhaps I should mention that to him...

How would you know that's what he thinks if he never asked? Your reaching aren't you? Maybe he is the one with a partner.

And welcome to the world of what men went though for years when they were the ones asking women out.

You can either ask him out again, or move on, often we never know why they say no

Sounds more like you're on the rebound. What's the rush to get a new boyfriend?

Just keep getting to know more people. If one guy sparks your interested and vice versa, things will fall into place naturally.

    This situation sounds forced.
