Hi, I am a L-2 visa holder, my father is the L-1. I did not receive a ssn like my father and mother, and I have heard that only my mother as an L-2(spouse) can get work authorization, but I also heard that my father can apply to a social security number for me. If so, how can I apply to get a work authorization?

L-2 dependent children are not eligible for and EAD. The SSN will not give you any work authorization, neither will the ITIN.
