SO it sat for four years never used it got a new house and now I need it to work! I changed, plugs, oil and filter and still nothing. I dripped some gas into the air filter hole and pull she fired right up! So now I know she is not getting gas. When I last used her I didn't turn off the fuel line so maybe a clog there. I pulled tank and it flows fine to the switch, hooked up spare hose and blow from switch to carb and fuel came out. PUt it all back together and still nothing! I dripped a little more into carb and she fires off and dies. So what do I do now! I think is all carb but what parts of the carb? Is she finished or can I save her I need to mow like last week!

You don't leave them set over the winter unused, and never, ever that long with ANY fuel in them.. If you absolutely have to park it over the winter, at least use a fuel stabilizer... if its for longer, run the tank dry before you store it.

You have a carb that is gummed up badly with varnish and deposits from that old fuel. It will need taken apart and properly cleaned with the correct solvents.

I've acquired chippers, shreders, lawnmowers, etc over the years for free because of people doing that sort of thing. In fact I haven't had to buy any of those in 14 years now that I've owned my house.
