    Leaking Toilet Waste Pipe
Hi! I've recently discovered a leak in our toilet waste pipe which runs through the basement towards the manhole in next doors driveway.

It's leaking from two areas which I've circled in the picture below. It's leaking about 100ml every time the toilet is flushed.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks! :)

    Hi Jay:

How big is the pipe? Is it cast iron metal pipe or is it a clay pipe... hard to tell from here. It looks like cast iron colored orange... hmmm? Let me know...

Either way, unless the pipe is a 6" clay pipe you will need to plan on cutting the pipe out and replacing it with new pipe OR if that is an absolutley horrific idea you may be able to get the pipe relined from just inside your basement to the manhole next door... maybe?

    Back to you...
