Where is the gas filter on 91 honda civic dx hatchback 1.5L

Black metal canister thing on the firewall, passengers side of the car, about the size of a Civic Oil filter. Or for those that drive on the right side of the road vs those who drive on the wrong side (the left), that's on the right side.

Along the firewall, just to the right of the battery.
