I was married in April of 84' but was never registered at the courthouse in my County, Im I married or not? The reason I ask is I'm doing my own Divorce and just found out this information, where do I go to find answer's. Thanks for any answers... :confused:

When you get married, you get a marriage license at the court house, the minister or judge signs it after the wedding and the minister or judge returns it.

It will be filed at the court house where you got your marriage license at.
You don't "register" it at any other court house.

If you did not get a marriage license to get married, you were never married.
