Our new dog (rescue dog) has bouts where she shakes and shakes. We think it is because of nerves and poss being cold. She was very under fed. She has put on a few pounds now and is shaking less but is there something anyone would recommend to help this transition along.

Thanks Dahlia, I have been crazy busy lately so have missed a few questions.

It could be because of her weight, skinny dogs feel the cold a lot more than a well fed one.
Have you thought about buying her a dog coat for colder days/nights?
I actually just made one for mine out of polar fleece, only cost me $10 plus a bit of sewing.

Shaking can also be an indication of pain... has she been acting off color or is she still playful and eating well?
