Washing Machine Loose, unbalanced even empty
I have a whirlpool top load washer, model # LSR6332KQO, that will no longer spin smoothly. It wobbles even when empty. The tub is loose from side-to-side, but not up and down. The agitator also seems slightly loose side-to-side and up and down. Any idea what may be the problem. I do not see any visble belt. There is no access panel on the back, so I have tipped it at an angle, front side down. Is this problem easy to fix or better to look into a new one?

Although the mechanics of a washing machine are not my specialty, did a spring on the tub break? Seems that would cause a symptom you are describing.

All the springs seem to be in tact, a bit rusty on some. The machine was also level from side to side and front to back before I took it down. Before taking it down, I ran a dry spin and it wobbled. It did not bang like when it has clothes in it, and most loads wobble a lot, some really bad. If you can offer anymore advice, that would be nice. Thanks.
