    One remote and two fans
I have a remote control for the fan and each time I use it to turn on the fan in the living room, the fan in the dining room is on as well. How do I fix it? I just bought the house and I am not sure what the previous owner did. Thx

You need a second remote and set to a different code, or if handy. Add a small switch to simulate the dip code switching. 1 switch will be on or off.

I have the second remote for the second fan. But the second remote does not work on the second fan. How do you set the remote to a different code. I don't have the manual for the remotes. Thc

Open the battery cover of the remotes, you should see about 9 little tiny switches. You will find a similar array in the receiver. Set all the switches to on for one remote and the receiver that goes with it. Now go to the other remote and set all switches to off on the remote and receiver.

The receiver is usually under the canopy at the ceiling. Match codes*switches) with the transmitter.
