I have a jvc projection TV, model hd56g786, about 4 and half years old and after a few minutes it turns itself off. I can't turn it off by the remote but have to unplug it. After a few minutes I can plug it back in and turn it on with the remote. Had the bulb changed about a year ago. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the power supply or something along the way may be overheating and causing a shut down. That is why when you unplug it there is a chance for it to cool down and repeat the cycle.
