    Car battery died while driving
Hi, last night I was driving my car and it died while I was driving it-twice. Both times I was going pretty slow, probably between 20-30 kpm, and both times it started back up right away. Afterwards I got my friend to come take a quick look at it, all he noticed was that my belts were a little tight. We took it for a drive and it didn't do it once. I drove it again this morning to school and back (5 min each way) and it didn't do it either time. Should I be worried? It is a 2006 Pontiac Sunfire. I'm considering taking it to the dealer to get it checked out, but if it's not doing it anymore would they even find anything?

. Remove and fully charge the battery. Most auto parts stores will test and charge batteries for free.

. Check the charging system, using the link below:

My bet is that you just need a new battery.
