Yes... the only time you will get pregnant is when you are, or about to, ovulate. This is not always easy to determine however, but if you know you tend to having some cramping around that time, it can be a helpful sign when trying to become pregnant.
Keep in mind, however, that even with good timing, pregnancy can take awhile for many couples.
