I'm 14 and I'm having trouble being a teen. I'm bisexual and I think I'm in love. I know teens say that a lot but this is for real. The problem is he's gay, and he my best friend. But I know he is the one. He knows I like him and he's everything to me. I don't know what to do. Why is being a teen so hard??

No really, how can he be the one if he's gay? You can't just turn someone from being gay into being straight...

OK it took some reading but I finally figured out that you are a female. He is a gay male and like Riot said you cannot change him.
I got a question though, to add to this and to hopefully discuss.

I do not have any problem with peoples sexuality. I am strait and I love being that way but I have gay friends both male and female. Since I have been getting on and advising teens I seem to be seeing a huge growing trend here. More and more people of younger and younger ages are coming out about being gay. I don't get it.
I know that in this day and age that being gay is not something to hide, and correct me if I am wrong but does it not seem like the gay community is growing exponentially?

Why the huge increase and why such young discoveries?

I think most of us are just confused. And he sometimes likes girls.. he just leans more toward guys. I lean more toward girls, he's the first guy I've liked in forever. And my girl best friend says we sound and act perfect for each other.

That's funny. Maybe some day you will lean towards each other.
