    I have a John Deer L100 with an Intek 17hp OHV that won't start.
    I have power, fuel but no spark won't fire could the spark plug be the problem or is it the silinoid and if it is what is the gap distance between it and the flywheel. Worked on it till 2 AM the other night trying to get it running please help!

    The solenoid isn't next to the flywheel you must be talking about the coil,I use a index card between the coil and the magenet on the flywheel,
