I have a 1994 buick park avenue ultra that will not go into gear period please can someone assist me with this problem

Have you checked the transmission fluid lately? If its very low it won't go into gear. Also make sure the shift cables and linkage are OK.

No I haven't checked it but I will asap and let you know if that maybe the problem thanks

When you say it won't go into gear, do you mean that the shift lever won't come out of park? Or do you mean the lever moves into reverse, neutral, drive, etc. but the transmission won't shift into that gear?
