I'm the type of person which is a contradiction. I can be the biggest ,but if I love someone [ could be a friend too],I give my heart.if they say the slightest thing, like I'm not going to meet you today,I end up crying. I don't know what this is.. any help ? And how can I stop it?

I have a feeling that I know where you are coming from.
What leads me to say this is the word MALTA.
You can be referred as being by description " an islander".
I happen to have been born in Malta in 1930.
I am mature enough now, but I too am a contradiction.
I prefer to be hated than loved.
Sometimes I go out of my way
    To contradict others purposely .
You can stop being the way you think you are by becoming less
    Aggressive.
The islander type , due to the small numbers is usually a very ambitious person.
Winning is usually the name of the game.
Coming second is usually not good enough.
The place to be is number ONE!
I am now nearly 80 years old.
I find great difficulty in placing
    Myself behind others.
    GOOD LUCK!

What you do is base your happiness and well being on the response of another person. You depend on others to affirm your happiness and affirm your sense of self. You give them your heart, but you also give them the power to hurt you because you can't separate yourself from them.

The answer? Get a life. (I'm not being rude.) Start being interested in people for what they are, not what they can give you; give to others and stop expecting anything in return; contribute to your own well-being by doing interesting work, studying, learning about yourself and the world.

Be independent and learn to find enjoyment in little things - the you'll develop the ability to be more resilient and less dependent on other people for your emotional well-being.

I might add, this may take some time!
