I'm looking at buying a 1995 BMW K75 motorcyle with 2000 original miles on it. KThis bike has been sitting for 15 years without use. What things should I be concerned about?

Seals... some gaskets... more importantly bearings that have gone dry sitting that long.

Was this indoor or outdoor storage? And is it a damp or dry climate.


Also Fuel system... if this wasn't put up with a truly dry system you have a lot a crud and varnish that will need cleaned out.

Dry rotted tires (and tubes if not tubless). Fuel lines dry rotted. Brake fluid gone bad, possible moisture accumulation and corrosion in the brake calipers...


In short, it needs a VERY thourogh sorting out.
