Could I be pregnant? Reg. period in Jan. Irregular in Feb & spotting in March. Sudden weight gain. Then spotted 3 days ago, skipped, a day, then started bleeding. I'm having all symptoms mention on-line. 2 hpts were negative. but I feel pregnant (if that makes sense). Symptoms 20 yrs ago. I still had periods, found out I was 3 mons. Along. Could I be pregnant or going through menopause? I'm in my 40's.

You could be pregnant, you could be beginning menopause, or your thyroid could have become under active. The only way you will know for sure would be to get your blood tested by your doctor.

Can a pregnancy possibly be mistaken for uterine fibroids?
I'm wondering, can a pregnancy be mistaken for fibroids? I had symptoms for 2 mons. weight gain, fatigue, but still reg. periods. I don't want to end up like the ladies on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant"!

The best thing to do would be to go to the doctors and get a pregnancy test because yes you can have your period and still be pregnant.

I ovulated 6/30, had sex 7/3 (withdrawal method), spotted light red7/5 & light pink mucus 7/8, I thought it might be implantation bleeding, but started bleeding 7/15. Could that be a period. I'm confused about the spotting. I've been very fatigue and moody lately. My period has always been regular. I was also told in May that I had fibroids. Last week I had an internalultrasound. The technican said he didn't see anything that even resembled a fibroid. I'm very confused about what's going on. Could I be pregnant or is my period out of wack! Can you bleed and still be pregnant?

If you did indeed ovulate on the 30th, you would not become pregnant from sex on the 3rd. An egg is viable for about 24 hours at most (sometimes not even that long). Now some women will release a second egg soon after the first, but it would still be too early to result in a pregnancy.
You may have ovulated later than you thought... how was ovulation determined?
The spotting could have been due to the recent sex, maybe hormonal shifts, uterine changes, maybe even pregnancy. Some women will have some bleeding in early pregnancy.
If the period was not the norm for you, try a pregnancy test and see what results you get. You may want to wait until next month and see if it was just an off period and test again at that time if necessary.

I just want to add that the withdrawl method is not a form of birth control. If you don't want a baby right now, look into an actual form of birth control, like the pill+condom.

People that use withdrawl as a method of birth control are actually one small step away from trying to conceive.

No form of birth control is 100%, but withdrawl isn't even on the list of reliable birth control. In other words, it's a myth, not a method.
