Code reader says mass air sensor is the problem, changed mass air sensor and it did not help. Car idles poorly and car smokes(black) code reader still says mass air sensor,volume air sensor.changed plugs no help. What is next?

Did you use a code reader to clear all codes, after replacing the MAF Sensor?
