Here's my story... I was in a mall in calgary 3 weeks ago and I decided to go to zellers and steal something. I walk out of the zellers with the product thinking "awesome! the alarm didn't go off!" but the security stops me and takes me to the security office in zellers and gives me documents that I have to sign saying that I'm banned from the mall and hbc for 2 years. The cops come to talk to me and decide not to charge me. This is my first offense and I've been very co-operative during the whole process. I'm also 18 years old. I do regret it so much and this is the most dumbass thing I've ever done.

The question is can I still go to the u.s. or do I have to wait till those 2 years are over so I can go to the mall or hbc and then I can cross the canada/u.s. border?
