Depends on what is going on currently in your case. If either of you still reside in the state where the orders originated from then the original county holds jurisdiction. If both parties have moved out of state then it can be moved to where the child is currently living.
I am contacting you on behalf of my boyfriend, his divorce/custody case took place in Port Charlotte, Florida. His X wife had custody of both kids, until about 2 years ago when the daughter came to Canada to live with and now has become a Canadian Cititzen.. My boyfriend is still paying for Child Support for both kids, but has ask the x-wife to speak with the government, etc to get it change. Still not done.. Is there a form or website that you can give me or any information regarding this would help..
