I have a Felony drug arrest. It was dismissed. Is it my right to have it dismissed. I tried to get it expunged after the dismissal. Is it diffucult to get a professional IT related job with an arrest like that.

Expungement is for convictions. You don't have one. If your case was dismissed you weren't convicted, and you don't have a CRIMINAL record. For MOST background checks, your arrest alone won't show up.

Arrested is one thing. Convicted is another. If you were not convicted your arrest does not count on background checks. But if this is a government type job it may appear.
