    I had a felony but was approved and completed the ard program

    I was a first time offender and was put in this program. My record was expunged but will I be able to be license in pa... one of the charges was felony but it was not violent and it was not related to drugs or alcohol.

    Most likely you will not be able to get a nursing license with a felony even if it was expunged. To be a nurse you have to have a 100% clean background.

    mjaj19, Check with the state licensing board, I think some states evaluate applicants on a case by case basis. Good luck

    I would say that you can't - contact the Board in PA and ask.

    I do see that if the felony conviction is more than 10 years old it's on a case-by-case basis but a person has to apply for a waiver.

    Answered on the second thread - in PA after ten years a person can apply and a waiver can be considered on a case by case basis. Before 10 years, no.
