    I recommend complaining to the state Attorney General. You should also consider setting up a recording device to verify your claim.

    Check out the laws in your state. Some states require the tenant to be notified 24 hours before the landlord enters your apartment. There are exceptions of course if there is an emergency, this rule might not apply

    I believe that you will find that the landlord may NOT enter your apartment without proper notice excepting, as mcfalin pointed out, emergencies.
