I am just wondering does anyone no if I have thrush or a vaginal infection? For the past few months there has been this whitish discharge in my vagina and it has a strong smell but its not itchy what so ever.

I don't know why you would let that condition go on for a 'few months'. You aren't the only one who can smell that kind of odor. Your friends can too. It could be any one of three infections, bacterial vaginosis, a yeast infection or trichomonas vaginitis.

Leaving something like this to go on for months only leads to further problems. I would advise a visit to your doctor; have it taken care of once and for all and make sure it doesn't come back.
