I have PCOS & was advised to take Diane35. Last pack was FEB2010 Last period (1st day) FEB24. My husband & I decided to try conceiving. Completely went off the pill after my last pack. Til now I don't have my period. What are the possibilities of getting pregnant? Is it safe to get pregnant? Should I try home pregnancy test now?

Pregnancy is possible since you stopped taking them. Although it could also be your body adjusting to ending their use. You could try a test and see what results you get. If negative, see what happens next month. Yes, it is safe to get pregnant... often it is recommended to wait for a period or two so that dating a pregnancy can be easier, but with scans done early on for dating purposes it is no longer an issue. Fingers crossed for you!

Could possibly be a yeast infection... you'll need to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis to determine what treatment, if any, might be necessary.

I think I am having a pregnancy scare or that I could be pregnant. My last cycle was on July 28,2010 and I had sex on August 11, 2010, which was around the time that I was suppose to be ovulating. I did not use protection. In Sept. I started getting cramps thinking that my period was coming but it was a no show. I also had a lot of gas but I don't have a lot of gas anymore. Sometimes I get like this pain across my stomach but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I get nauseated when I get out of bed in the morning sometimes and after I eat. Also I get bloated after I eat and it makes me look like I am 3 or 4 months. I feel very tired even when I have a good night of sleep or sometimes I just can't sleep at all. I took 3 test and on 1 I could see the line very clear and on the other 2 they were kind of faint but I could still see them in the positive area.

If you read the tests within the time frame stated, they are positive. If you read it later then what is recommended, the results were not valid and you should test again following the directions exactly. Set an appointment with your doctor to have it confirmed.

If you are pregnant, you will have decisions to make. If you aren't pregnant, and don't want to be, be sure to use protection every single time you have sex... no exceptions.

It may take several months for your cycles to become regular. Signs that your body is preparing for ovulation:

    * you may notice a change in cervical mucus... often referred to as being like egg whites, it will usually become more fluid, clear, and abundant.
    * position and feel of your cervix will change... need to be comfortable with checking throughout a couple of cycles to know the difference. Near ovulation your cervix will become soft and wet, harder to reach, and feel slightly open.
    * some women feel a bit of cramping midcycle, particularly over one ovary or the other.
    * you could try temping and charting... this can take several months to see a pattern and works well for some women but not for others
    * you could try an ovulation predictor test... this can also take a few months to get the hang of it and works well for some, but is frustrating for others.

Keep in mind that it can take many months to become pregnant, even with good timing. Most couples will become pregnant within the first year of trying, but, for some, it can take a bit longer.
