    Mortgage Help
I have in principle accepted a job in Ohio, I currently live and own a home in FL. I need to move my family there right away. However, I don't know how I can afford two mortgages or rent at the same time. My wife doesn't want to rent out our current home. Is there any way to obtain a mortgage on different home while possibly deferring the payments on the existing one?

Talk to the new job. Many companies offer relocation assistance that can help with situations like this.

However, I doubt if one bank is going to offer any deferrals. You can try for an interest only mortgage on the new home to reduce your outlay until you can sell the current home.

I don't mean this wrong, but this is something you should have thought about when you started looking for a job out of state.

Depending on the level of job, some places as mentioned will help with some relocation expenses, pay for a few months living expense and so on.
But it will often depend on what level job you are going to work at,

And often it does not matter what your wife wants, if you have to move, sometimes you have to do things so that you can afford to pay bills.

Next of course you can move and live in a small furnished room, while you wife stays and sells the house. I have lived out of small rooms for several months at a time on many occasions when I had to move across the country

If the income is there, the second property will most likely be looked upon as investment or some case maybe the first but yes sir is possible
