    Front suspension
    I drove into a kurb and bent the alloy wheel on my car. When I changed to put the spare on it would not fit because I think the swing arm is bent back. Please can someone tell me if this can be fixed and if so how much it might cost. Also I don't know the correct terms for the bits I think I have damaged. The car is a peugeot 306 diesel estate v reg

    You bent the steering arm on the steering knuckle (from your description--or you bent the tie rod). No way to fix either of these. They must be replaced. If it's the steering knuckle, find one at a junk yard. If you bent the tie rod, those are cheap enough that you can buy them new. Get the vehicle aligned after you replace the parts.
