I believe my daughter has cleptomania. What causes this and what is the treatment? Is there a cure? Thank you. -truly shocked

Yes we really need a lot more information. How old is she? What exactly is she doing? How long has this been going on? Family history, your child's history... etc. barbara

As kleptomania is a compulsion to steal, usually without either economic need or personal desire, this may simply be a cry for attention.
