This is the first prom I'm going to and first time I will dance... Any tips for dancing and maybe a gift for her or something I should do?

Concerning dancing, just move your body and legs to the music. Look at what others do when they're dancing. You don't have to look like a professional doing it. Just try to get into the groove of things.

U don't have to get her anything, it's just prom. But if you want to be sweet and romantic, than buy her casual and simple flowers when you pick her up or see her that night. Or pay for the dinner you will be going to before prom. Don't make it huge and buy jewlery or anything, I mean where will she put it? She already has jewlery that she has on for prom. If your thinking of asking her to prom, and want to get her something, a flower will do, followed by "will you go to prom with me?" and as for dancing. Don't fret. Just move side to side and go with the flow. Don't do anything crazy if you can't dance. No one there will be a great dancer. Believe me, u'll end up being the better ones. Take care
