I perchased a 1995 30 ft. travel trailer in Texas September 30, 2001. I gave the man who delivered the trailer $8000. In cash. He gave me a bill of sale and told me he had to go to the bank and get the title which had a small loan on it.

I have the bill of sale that is dated and signed, but he never brought me the title. How can I get a title?

Title Searchat the local dmv - you have to bring the Bill of Sale and VIN with you - you probably also need ID

You need to go in person to the DMV with your paperwork and they will do the search for you and see just who's name is on the title to the trailer. They can advise you what steps need to be taken from there to get the title in your name.
