~ 6 months ago I installed a Delta 21925 kitchen faucets for both my daughter and my wife. The spray attachment diverter valve (P/N RP6073) in my daughters faucet seems to be sticking (little/no water at spray nozzle). I checked for sediment in spray attachment - - no joy. Pulled diverter valve, attempted to clean/lube it and reinstalled. Also, no joy. Don't know exactly what valve is supposed to be like. Should I be able to move valve off seat by "shaking" it up and down (I can't)? Faucet is still under warranty but I'm willing to buy diverter valve just to get things back on line.

If you are sure that the problem is with diverter, call Delata help line at 800-345-3358 they will send you one for free, also explain your problem to them they may suggest something else and will sen you the part, the are very good and very helpful, Good luck.

Am fairly certain that problem is diverter but, like I've already said, I'm not clear on how diverter should feel/sound when I have it out of the faucet. Water pressure is good and spray attachment nozzle/hose are clear. Pressing spray nozzle shuts off water flow through faucet but results only in weak flow through spray nozzle. When spray nozzle is released normal flow through faucet is slow returning. Will double check when I'm at daughters and then follow up per your recommendation. Thanks.

This may be stating the obvious, but did you check that the hose doesn't get kinked when you pull out the sprayer?

It sounds like the spray nozzle have some debris inside, with diverter install remove the spray nozzle try it now if good flow problem is the nozzle, clean or replace, to clean the nozzle soak it in vinegar for a few hours and flush it with water or call Delta for replacement, Delta has a very good customer service try it, Thanks.

Will be at daughters for Easter. Will pull diverter and spray nozzle (if my wife lets me) and clean per your recommendation. It is a "well" system (vs. city water) so I think the possibility of debris is real. Am still curious re diverter (e.g. should it rattle when I shake it? Can it be disassembled?) Will get back after Easter. Thanks, all.

If the water flow is good through the spout, and good with the nozzle removed, then you have no problem with the diverter your problem is with the nozzle clean or replace it, like I said call Delta explain your problem and they will send you what they will think your problem is with, but I am guessing that the nozzle is the problem, I am not sure if your nozzle has an Aerator like the spout it is removable, try to clean the nozzle as I said, good luck.

My thanks to all who tried to help me with this problem. Two weeks ago we visited my daughter. She had not tried the sprayer since the problem originally arose and I hadn't "fixed" it. Immediately after arriving I got back on the problem. The first thing I did was try the sprayer. It worked! First time! Every time! It had never worked before and nothing I did helped. Now it works and I'm not going to argue with success! No explanation. Thanks for all the helpful inputs. Maybe water system pressure is a factor? It's a well system. That said, the pressure is never below ~30 psi. Thanks again.
