My Son Is 3 1/2 And he Don't Talk. He Has Words And Uses Small Sentences Sometimes But He Babbles All The Time When He Don't Know A Word. He Is Smart And A Fast Learner And I Know He Knows The Words but He Just Will Not Talk. What Should I Do?

I would have his hearing checked
Maybe see a speech therapist
But first get your pediatricians opinion.

Some children will not talk for the simple reason, that there is no need.

They point at something and the parent will retrieve. Why bother saying the word?

They attempt to start a sentence and aren't quick enough and the parent will finish it for them.

They babble because the parents babble or talk baby talk.

My granddaughters parents would always interpret for her, it made me mad.:( They finally were convinced to take her to a speech therapist and she speaks clearly now.

Please talk to her doctor, there could be many reasons or none at all:)
