Was wondering if them telling you that your amendment refund has been prossed and will go be in the mail on the 26th of march means I will receive it on the 26th of march and if not what does it mean?

Not sure if I understand your question. If they process and mail it on March 26th, you will get it within 2-3 weeks. Did you put a bank account # or did you request a check?

They said they only give checks with the amendment how do u know it takes 2 3 weeks they sent out my state amenment refund I got it the next day?

State is much quicker this year. In my experience, if the refund is processed on that date, a check will be received 2-3 weeks after the processing date. That's the max. You may get it sooner. I've been doing tax for over 10 years now. You could call the IRS and ask them if that is check receipt date or mailing date. I know direct deposits go in the day they process them which is usually every other Friday. On our chart, it always shows checks being received about 3 weeks out. Its been a while since I checked with a client receiving an amendment check, so would be good to know on a follow up email. Hope this helps!
