There is a TV commercial for The First 48, television series on A&E. The singer has a very deep voice with a very eerie melody and the lyrics are The devil walks tonight, it's such a shame, but it's always been the same... Does anyone know who the singer is and what the name of the song is? There is a discussion thread on the A&E's message board that has been up for 4 weeks and no one knows the answer.

I watched that video and did not ever even hear the words The Devil walks tonight, and the voice of the guy singing is nothing like the snippet in the commercial.

You may want to try Leonard Cohen songs. By the way I spent a lot of time looking for this song a "thank you anyway", would have been nice.
