    The first 4 numbers of the serial number should be date of mgf. i.e. 1792 would be Jan 7 1992. There are separate number for the heating and A/C units. Hope this helps?

    Unless Bryant Day and Night has changed their way of dating the first two numbers of the serial number is the week it was manufactured the second two numbers is the year of manufacture
