I take a regiment of meds, and I'm wondering if anyone wants to share what they take, so I can see if I'm on the right meds or not, I've been on almost everything, and not sure if what I'm on is the right thing or not? Help me.

Oh trust me I have, several times. That's why I'm just curious what other people with bipolar take, and if it helps them, so I can make suggestions to my doctor.

I guess there is little harm in telling you what I take, but as long as you understand that these are working(for now),only for me, not you.

Zoloft 100mg AM
Depakote ER 500 mg 2 times daily
Pristiq 100 mg AM
Ativan as needed.
Sonata for sleep.
Trazodone for sleep.

Just the latest in a long line of tries for the right combination.

My fiancé takes trazodone, but also serequel. THe trazodone is to help her sleep and fight anxiety. The sarequel is an anti psychotic. That isn't all she is taking but I can't remember the names of the other ones. Sarequel by the way is super powerful knock you out and make you fat kind of drug. But it works dang great for her too... Its all about what you're willing to put up with I guess. She is currently winning her battle against weight and she is still on the medication.
She is working very very hard every day to lose weight and in the last 3 months she has lost 8 lbs. In the last 3 months I have lost over 20 and I got put on prozac for depression. Prozac is a weaker pill and has weight loss as a side effect. ( I like that side effect by the way ) But they are primarily used for depression and anxiety only though I have heard of them being used for other things too.

Has your girlfriend been checked for diabetes?It is a known side effect of the seroquel.I had raised levels during the time I was on it(hospitalized with highs of 475), treated and diagnosed with diabetes,stopped using the med,and in 6 months have no need of medications for the diabetes(I was on insulin in the beginning)

No,not all react this way, but caution is prudent.

I currently take Paxil, seroquel, trazadone, and adderoll for counteracting the weight gain affect the other have. It was working so well for abut 3 months, but now I'm falling apart again. I feel that I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and I can't stop shaking. My home life sucks right now, my work sucks. I'm having a really hard time right now. So any advice is greatly appreciated.

How often do you see your therapist and doctor?

They need to be your sounding board.We can add to their help,but they are close by,they have your history,they know what meds have worked.

By all means keep writing back, we will support you from a distance,but seek the professionals soon!

I kind of neglect my own health a lot, because I work so much. I haven't seen my therapist in over a month, my physiciatrist disharged me because I ripped up a script that I didn't want, and told her that a million times. So now I have a new doctor, and he's nice. But the last 3 days, I've been shaking, hard time breathing, nervous, paranoid, insecure, and very argumentative. I'm falling apart right now.

You have to be the one who takes care of you, it isn't up to them to care for you, you are just a paycheck, maybe they care some, but you just pay the bills, if you don't want to get out of the chaos, they don't need to help,right?

You are just a paycheck, maybe they care some, but you just pay(their) bills.Meaning,if you don't care and want to doctor yourself, why should they care, as long as they get paid, you can do whatever you want.

If you don't want to get out of the chaos(ie: ripping up scrips), they don't need to help,right?

Why would they want to,you don't seem to want the care they provide,you get upset at whatever,rip up the medications they are trying to treat you with,and then what?You end up in the situation your in right now.CHAOS
