    Homebuyer tax credit
    I bought a house 2 weeks ago (3/10/2010) and I'm in the process of filing my taxes and amending it. I have two questions,

    1) Can I e-file that or do I have to mail it?
    2) My wife and I are filing jointly but only my name is on the deed (she has never owned a home before), do I have to include her name anywhere in the amendment form (5405)?

    1) MUST be mailed, because you have to attach a copy of your closing statement.

    2) Yes.
